On July 25th, 2024, Prof. Lucy Gitonga, OGW, Dean of the School of Nursing and Public Health at Chuka University, alongside Justin Mokua, a third-year nursing student, took to Chuka University Radio to educate the community about breast cancer. Their informative session aimed to raise awareness on the importance of early detection, prevention, and treatment options for breast cancer. This initiative was designed to equip the local population with essential knowledge to effectively address and manage the rising threat of breast cancer.
